First and for most, I am a teacher, mentor, and a coach. I have taught for 16 years in the Buffalo/Niagara Region. While teaching, I discovered my passion for entertainment business management. While conducting my duties as Pupil Services Assistant in the guidance department, and later as a Teacher, I began to mentor students. I have always been fascinated with African-American history. I started a black history performing arts club. I began to produce and direct performing arts programs at the school and in the community . We were so successful that I began to enter the students in local and national competitions. Students competed in drama, instrumental and vocal music, writing, and dance. I have continued to successfully manage and direct talented students for 20 years of my career.
About four years ago, I decided that I wanted to focus entirely on my creative talents in managing artists. I signed up for a course in entrepreneurship at Canisius College. I created a business plan for my business and graduated in 2007. All I had to do was obtain the financing and building for the business. I realized in order to be the best that I could be and for my clients , I needed to get more education on the entertainment business aspects of my calling. I already knew I was gifted in discovering, inspiring and bringing the best out of the artists that I managed. I began to search for schools that would give me the type of technical expertise that I needed. Full Sail University had just the program I was looking for. Their reputation for producing the finest entertainment professionals in the country clinched the deal for me.
My goal is to find the most talented up and coming gospel artists and give them the platform, guidance, and expertise they deserve to develop and grow into the blessing that God intended for them and the world. I plan to manage their careers so that the world will be transformed by their music. It is my assignment from God!
